	U.S. Navy Blue Angels http://www.blueangels.navy.mil The Blue Angels are the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, established in 1946. Each year, the Blue Angels perform at roughly 70 air shows in 35 locations, thrilling an estimated 15 million fans. The Blue Angels fly the Boeing F/A-18 Hornet.



	U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds http://thunderbirds.airforce.com/ The Thunderbirds are the U.S. Air Force Flight Demonstration Team, established in 1953. Each year, the Thunderbirds perform at roughly 70 air shows in 40 locations, thrilling an estimated 10 million fans. The Thunderbirds fly the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon.


Aviation Museums:



	National Air and Space Museum http://www.nasm.si.edu/ The National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. has hundreds of original, historic artifacts on display, including the Wright 1903 Flyer; the Spirit of St. Louis; the Apollo 11 command module Columbia; and a Lunar rock sample that visitors can touch. The Museum offers 22 exhibition galleries, the Lockheed Martin IMAX® Theater, flight simulators, a three-level Museum shop, and a food-court-style restaurant. The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the Museum on the National Mall. The building opened in December, 2003, and provides enough space for the Smithsonian to display the thousands of aviation and space artifacts that cannot be exhibited on the National Mall. 	San Diego Aerospace Museum http://www.aerospacemuseum.org From the Montgolfier brothers' hot air balloon of 1783 (the first manned vehicle in recorded history to break the bonds of gravity and lift man above the Earth) right into the Space Age, the San Diego Aerospace Museum is a fine jewel in San Diego's Balboa Park. The San Diego Aerospace Museum traces the history of both civilian and military aviation from the Wright Brothers to the present, featuring many aircraft which have been lovingly restored to mint condition. 	National Museum of Naval Aviation http://www.naval-air.org The National Museum of Naval Aviation is one of the largest and most beautiful air and space museums in the world. The museum contains over 140 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Aviation. Not to be missed are the in-house IMAX movie theater, which shows "The Magic of Flight" film featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and a Diamond Formation of A-4 Skyhawk Blue Angels hanging from the ceiling. The Blue Angels Enlisted Association sells a selection of Afterburner Images' posters and our Blue Angels Calendar during Blue Angels autograph sessions at the museum.




	United States Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum The United States Air Force Museum near Dayton, Ohio is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. The Museum uses both chronological and subjective layouts to tell the exciting story of aviation development from the days of the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk to the Space Age. Exhibits include over 300 aircraft and missiles, plus family oriented and historically interesting aeronautical displays. Over one and a half million visitors from around the world come to Ohio each year to tour this unique free attraction.
